Quality "Made in Italy"

Just as in fashion, Italy is the worldwide leader in furnishing when it comes to creativity and masterful execution. The "Made in Italy" phenomenon is recognized the world over for outstanding quality, advanced design and traditional workmanship which blend with highly technological manufacturing processes.
Along the way, we have perfected every single detail of our products, going so far as to improve even the interior aesthetics. In the tables, for example, to keep repeated use of extensions from causing scratches on the painted tray, we have used the "flocculation" technique to apply a special velvety protective surface right on the tray. This technique is usually used in the automotive industry for glove compartments and various object holders [a].
Our quality standards are the highest, and our industrial processes comply with the most stringent international standards, including those dealing with environmental protection.
For this reason Kristalia, right from the very beginning, has always used Italian semi-finished products, to ensure products of the highest quality possible.
Kristalia performs a series of in-depth controls and checks of the materials used, both in its in-house testing centre as well as at the CATAS Research and Development Centre. It is essential to subject chairs to tough testing in order to evaluate possible contract placement. Face, for example, has attained the highest possible scores in resistance tests [b].

Hard leather and hides [c]:
The hides we use to make our products are selected and guaranteed for quality and durability. The hides used only come from European bovine farms, where fences are made with low tensioin electric wires, instead of barbed wire, to protect the animal and guarantee that its hide remains intact. The hides of animals that have grown up in the wild or that come from tropical countries often have marks and scars due to wounds and insect bites. The only parts we use are called "rumps", processed as second cuts after "cuoietto", to guarantee a resistant product and, no less important, a smooth surface with a soft full feel and uniform colour. Once selected, the hide is tanned, an irreversible preservation process, which allows it to imperturbably resist the passing of time, remaining unaltered or even improving its beauty. Also in this case, Kristalia guarantees the best tanning processes. In fact, the hides are exclusively processed at the best tanneries in the tanning district of Arzignano, famous worldwide for its top quality. Processing is carried out in compliance with EEC standards.
