The sixth edition of the international Archiproducts Design Awards (ADA) competition has ended and the jury has revealed the winners of the 2021 edition among the more than 750 nominations. Selected by a jury made up of the most important figures in architecture and design in the current panorama, the winners stood out for their unique and creative concept. Palco, the new modular sofa for outdoors by Kristalia, was elected within the “Outdoor” category.
Designed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, founders of the London-based Industrial Facility, Palco consists of a slatted teak platform with a metal base and one or more padded elements that can be combined to create various configurations, which can also be altered after making your purchase. The platform can be entirely covered with the padded elements or used as a low table on which to place a lamp, a book or a cocktail. The ideal location recommended by Kristalia for Palco is on covered and semi-covered verandas and terraces.
